Scalp problem and hair coloring?

I want to color my hair so bad, but I have Scabs that are normal and I sometimes scratch them open, Dr. says it's no lice or dandruff. Is it safe to color my hair?

talk with you Doctor 1st!!!!! maybe you cant use a permanent color,,especially with chemicals! there are other ways to be "chic" with hair accessories! is it REALLY worth it? health should come first.. good luck
