Semipermanent hair color didn't take

I got my hair dyed autumn leaf which is similiar to a auburn color. The hair dye was semipermanent. My hair color is off black. The hair color didn't take to my hair. Can I get my hair dyed with a permanent color two weeks from now?

Sorry but these colors dont work majic on there own. Your hair is too dark tpo change to a totally different color without pre-lightening your dark hair..Perhaps a higher volume activator might budge it a bit but will probably make it too bright reddish drk.brown Good luck

Even though the colour didn't take it is still on your hair so it will create a barrier for the next colour. For best results wait at least 6 weeks and use a clarifying shampoo to lift out the semi.
Because your hair is dark it will naturally go to a warm colour when you start lightening it so to achieve your desired colour use a medium ash brown tone in a permanent colour. Good luck

Blonde hair didn't take brown color

I did the same thing only my hair is naturally blonde and I died the underneath a medium brown. It hardly took at all so I did it again and it took better but still not fully, after only about 5 days it came out. I now just have a very light tint of brown, looks more like a dark blonde. How can I get my hiar to take the color better next time?
