something different please

Well I need a new hair style please, I've always cut my hair in layers. I have had my hair in layers all way to my mid-back and i also done layers up to my shoulders, always layers! Im 20 and I want something that looks good and is stylish. Also, i've never dyed my hair, some people say I should add some highlights. This picture was from last summer, my hair if you put it just like in the picture; it covers my breasts. Please help.

p.s. My friend suggested really short hair? maybe? what do you guys think?

Hi!
Your friend has a good eye. You have a nearly perfectly shaped oval face and features and could pull off almost any hairstyle, but if you came into my salon looking for a change, I'd enthusiastically suggest trying the shortest of the haircuts this season-- the Pixie! If you would dare I could make you so beautiful by cutting it really short.
