I am 52 years old and tired of having to wear my hair in a ponytail because my hair is thick and gets thicker when the humidity rises. I have a small narrow face. What style would you recommend?

maybe something with shorter layers around your face? The stylist can also thin your hair a little so it's not so heavy. Stacking in the back looks great with thick hair. Look up some pictures of the graduated bob.

I have the same problem! Plus, when my hair is too short, it gets frizzy since it's dry & a little wavy. What I did is to keep it long, below shoulder length & simply added layers around my face & long layers in the back. It's versatile, the length helps to weigh my hair down & keep it from frizzing & long hair locks beautiful on women of all ages (I'm in my 40s).

For other style options try a headband or pinning the sides back with bobby pins or a nice barrette.
