In the last year my usually very thick and strong hair has become much thinner and prone to breakage and damage. I haven't changed my diet and as far as I know I am healthy. The only thing that has changed is that I stopped taking the contraceptive pill for a year. I was wondering if this could be a reason for my hair thinning as I know the hormones in the pill are meant to be good for your hair, skin and nails? I have started taking the pill again, but it usually takes 3 months to have any effect on such things, I was wondering if you could suggest any treatments or products i can use in the meantime to boost by thin and dry hair? I have tried various volumising products but they tend to dry out my hair even more!
