Thinning hair

Hi, I'm Freya. =).
I have A HUGE problem..
So ever since I was little, I've had really thick CURLY hair, and I always got praise for it. When I got hair straighteners I was CHUFFED. When I first got them I was desperate to straighten my hair every day. I realized a few months after that it could result in disasterous ways. So I decided to not straighten it as much, But ever since I got extreme layers, I'v wanted to straighten more. And I still don't, but I do slightly more (Twice a month)And It's suddenly started falling out, I'm scared it will thin out really bad. I don't want it to. It doesn't come out in clumps, I'm positive I don't have Cancer. But It's falling out and It'd be cool if it Didn't. Thanks
Freya =)

Straightening?
by: Anonymous

When you say straightening you mean with a flat iron? You are worried because your hair is breaking off from using the iron too often? If your thick hair is thinning because it is breaking off from too much heat, then stop the straightening. Eventually, the new growth will not break off any more and you will be fine, but if your hair is badly damaged, it will continue to break off and appear that it is thinning until that new growth has the chance to grow in.
