Thinning shears nightmare

I went to a new salon a couple of weeks ago to get a cut. My hair has been in a symmetrical bob for awhile now & it needed to be shaped up. I think the stylist used thinning shears after the cut, because now at the ends of my layers my hair looks fried. It looks frizzy and feels almost hard. It tangles together and sticks out on the ends. Pretty much looks like someone that's had about a million perms over the years. I have very thin hair already, now this. What am I going to do? I've tried using a really good conditioner, and that didn't work. I tried using the straightener on it and that helps a little but I'm afraid I'm doing more damage to it. Any advice would be welcome, I want to shave my head!

don't shave your head

get some smoothing serum. Biosilk makes some. I think Sunsilk does too, and there would be a little cheaper and you could find it at wal mart or the drug store.

razor?

You would have known if they used thinning shears because they lift and cut into the hair, but it doesn't leave hair ends like you describe. Did they use a razor perhaps on the ends? Only suggestion is to find someone to trim the ends for you. Your hair maybe a bit shorter than you want for a while, but that should get rid of what you are describing. Good luck!

raggy ends

sounds like the shears used needed sharpening and that your hair was more chewed than cut.....trim ends and let your hair grow out.
