 Good place to look for ideas

Check out Flickr on the Internet. Type in hair, hair color, wild hair color, etc. and you'll have thousands of ideas for colors, cuts, styles, etc. If you like it light, you might try adding low lights underneath for more depth and interest. Streaks and a variety of color offer better visual depth and don't show that line of new growth along the roots that a straight dye process does. Maybe experiment with some warmer browns and reds underneath with some very light streaks on top. Darker streaks and highlights are nice because you can start out with just a few to see how you like them, adding more later. When it comes time to retouch, remember to do the roots only so you maintain the range of contrast.
