What sort of bob hairstyle would suit me?

by C. Moy

I've had hair that has been anywhere from an inch above my shoulders to three or four inches past. I've got very fine hair and a heart-shaped face, and I'm looking for a nice bob. However, it seems all of the ones I look for are either too severe or boring. What sort would best suit my texture and face shape?

Bob suggestions

Because of the narrow line at your chin, a bob that maintains its bulk at the sides/bottom is important.

So, rather than the popular graduated bob that is layered to create roundness and gets narrower at the ends, you'll need a bob that is more blunt-cut. Adding some loose waves with an occasional roller set will help create even more width and softness around the perimeter.

Learn how to set hair in rollers here.

The length of your bob should be just at chin-level for the best proportion. And the best way to wear your bangs is swept across the forehead (like you have them already).

All the best,
