What to do now? blonde/brown/ginger??

I have been dark brown for the past 2 years now and wanted to go a lighter brown. So i simply brought a light brown dye and stupidly thought it owuld work and i ended up with just ginger roots and was then told afterwards that you cant put 'tint' on 'tint'.
so i started bleaching my hair at home bit by bit and had some very ginger bits in my hair but put up with it thinking that the light brown dye will stick to the bleach. But last night i went ott with the bleach and now have a BRIGHT yellow colour everywhere so i aim going to have to put the light brown on ASAP right? or is there a way of making my hair not so illuminous? or if i have to put light brown through it is there anyway i couls keep some little blonde bits in random places? as this was the result i first hoped for

There's a difference between pro. coloring and home. Your hair can't take a hit and miss coloring when you have bleach involved. No matter what you do afterward, you still have hair that's been bleached. Really without someone seeing the condition your hair is in, no advise is better.

Make an appointment with a color specialist. Your hair will thank you.

light brown?
by: Anonymous

I just did what you said - and ended up with very bright yellow (with some orange) hair. I then dyed it medium blonde using Loreal....and LOVE IT! It is very dry though...so I plan to heavily condition it and not wash it every day....but I love the color! So, I would try a color lighter than your light brown because as you know....once it is dark, you cannot lighten it unless you do some drastic bleaching - and you already did that so you really don't want to do that again.
