What to do with platinum hair to phase out block bleaching

Hi, Ive got a great clean platinum blonde but im sick of how often i have to bleach it and how much it costs. Is is best to foil lighter brown in next time i get my roots done (bleach roots then foil for even colour)??

Sometimes darker will not stay on highly bleached hair. Need to use alot of protein treatments first and also added to color. I would foil in a Demi-Permanent color like Shades EQ (Redken) so theres only deposit and no lift. You can foil that in and then apply the root color in between. Or fill and color whole head back and then foil in highlights.
