Hi Jenny. If your hair was recently stripped to remove black color, it is likely a bit overporous. So you'll want to be cautious about using too dark of a color. Because you're simply depositing color, there's no need to use a permanent color line. Look for a semi-permanent (no-ammonia) line. Semi-permanents don't have any 'lifting' power, so they're gentler on the hair and they don't mess with the existing color in any way, making the results more reliable. Try a shade lighter than you want to achieve though, due to the condition of your hair.

Hope this helps,
Michelle
