what will happen to my hair?

yesterday i dyed my hair with the cheap boxes from wal mart i don't like how my hair looks, it looks red. if i re dye it tomorrow but at a professional place what will happen.?

They will probably have to strip the dye from your hair, which can be damaging, but since you are going to a salon to have it redyed, they will probably (or should) tell you what to use to keep the damage to a minimal.

When buying hair color, I've found it's best to go to a salon supply store like Sally's. They are quite knowledgable about hair care and color. Ion has a really good line of hair coloring products.

if you used a cheap box of dye and it hasn't been 24 hours yet wash your hair a few times some of it will come out. like other person said if there is a beauty supply place around your area go there but stay away from ion colors they tend to make your hair red it did mine and also if you are dark haired going light it will pull red stick with ash base colors to cut the red. one thing i have learned is by the time you buy store bought colors to do your hair it is worth the money you pay to go to the salon. good luck
