why did my hair turn grey from highlights?

by G

I recently had dark blonde lowlights put into my natural medium blonde hair. My hair has turned to an ashy grey color. Do I need a toner to correct this problem? My hair dresser put a warm bolnde gloss into my hair and there was no change. Help, what should I do?

greyish lowlights

Sounds like your colorist used a haircolor with too much blue pigment. So is it just the darker pieces that have the grey tone, or were the pieces that were left your natural color also affected?

All the best,
