would I look good with brown hair?

Do you think I could carry off Anne Hathaway's deep brown haircolor, or should I leave it black?
I am almost 40, and have approx. 10% grey coming through (seem to get a few more each year). I keep my hair short and it's very healthy. Any opinions and advice appreciated.

I am not sure what you are looking for...if your hair is truly black you should be OK with the deep brown you are talking about. The difference will be in the tone...you look striking enough with the color you have now. The color you are talking about is very close to your color, but a tad softer. Are you worried about your grey hair coming in? When you have 50% grey, you will need to think about something softer to match your changing skin tone that happens when hair greys. Maybe even before you have that much grey depending on how it comes in...all over or in certain areas more than others.
