Bare Minerals Bare Skin Discontinued: What You Need to Know

Sharing is caring!

Has Bare Minerals Bareskin Been Discontinued? No, the Bare Minerals BareSkin is a series, where some of it has been discontinued and others are still available.

That means it depends on what you’re looking for since not all of the products in the series have been discontinued by the brand as you’ll soon discover below.

The series include serums, foundations, concealers, etc from what I discovered. Let’s look at some of the products that have been discontinued and those that are still available.

Bare Minerals BareSkin Products Discontinued

Here are some of the products the brand has discontinued in this line:

1. BareSkin Complete Coverage Serum Concealer

This is one of the many products that has been pulled from the market that will not be available for purchase from the brand.

This product is popular a bit and it seems as though a lot of people love the product.

So, you can imagine how many people would be sad when it was discontinued. According to the information I found, it seems that Bare Minerals actually replaced this one with their Liquid Mineral Concealer, which may not be as great.

A few alternatives to the BareSkin serum concealer include Kosas Revealer Concealer, bareMinerals Original Liquid Mineral Concealer, ilia Serum Concealer, By Terry Terrybly Densiliss Concealer, and Shiseido Synchro Skin Self-Refreshing Concealer.

Update: It seems this product is now available again. It’s expensive though, so I don’t know if it was cheaper before being pulled off the market in the first place.

Verdict

From those who have used several alternatives, it seems that the ilian Serum Concealer is the best alternative.

If you can’t find it or want to experiment, then you can get the others and see which one works best for you.

2. Bare Minerals BareSkin Foundation

This is also popular with a lot of users. However, I don’t think it’s as popular as the first serum concealer I covered above.

A quick alternative is Ulta Brand Soft Focus Liquid Foundation, The Ordinary Serum Foundation, Perricone MD No Makeup Foundation Serum,

Verdict

One thing with these alternatives is that they may not provide a satisfactory result as the original product.

Usually, when a product is discontinued, it takes a while to find an appropriate alternative or you may not find one at all.

So, if you find one alternative that you’re not happy with, simply keep looking. You may just be lucky to come across one you like.

Available Products in the BareSkin Series

As I mentioned above, I found some products in the series that are still available for sale. I don’t know if you can get them on the official website.

However, I found them through big online stores like Amazon, Walmart, etc. You can also check similar stores for possible alternatives too.

2. bareMinerals Complexion Rescue Tinted Hydrating Gel Cream – Now available on Amazon

Conclusion

So, back to the question, Has Bare Minerals Bareskin Been Discontinued? No, the Bare Minerals BareSkin is a series, where some of it has been discontinued and others are still available.

That means it depends on what you’re looking for since not all of the products in the series have been discontinued by the brand.

I’ve not confirmed from the brand which products have been permanently discontinued and which ones are just being affected by supply chain issues.

Some of these products go and come on the market so be on the lookout for updates.

Finally, this isn’t the weirdest product I’ve covered. I lot of them are pulled from the market/discontinued for a time. And then suddenly, you can buy them again.
