Is Aquage Cruelty-Free in 2022? SHM Answers!

Sharing is caring!

Aquage is cruelty-free.

Aquage is also a vegan brand. The brand doesn’t test or finance the testing of hair products on animals. Aquage is therefore one of the few animal-friendly brands you can get your hands on.

It’s not easy for these sorts of brands to maintain a good selection of products that are free from animal-derived ingredients or harmful chemicals that are also cheap.

So, if you’re looking at some of the prices of Aquage products and they are above average, you should know this is the reason why.

I’m sure you wouldn’t mind, as well as many others who call for brands to be cruelty-free, spending more with brands such as this. Aquage, Amlactin, and a few other cruelty-free brands aren’t that many.

The only way they can continue to exist, and for new ones to come out, is to continue to patronize them. Regardless of the prices of their products.

If you look at the name of the brand carefully, you’ll see something that tells a story of a brand that focuses on plant ingredients instead of animal-derived ingredients.

Aqua means green and that tells you it’s all about plants, isn’t it? Well, the exclusive ingredient the brand uses is Algaeplex, which contains healing properties. This meshed with other organic sea items to give you the best hair care.

Fortunately, Aquage has an extensive product base, ranging from shampoos to conditioners, sealing sprays, powders, defining cream, detangler, and pretty much everything that’ll make your hair look great.

This is an example of a brand that can make dull hair come back to life without endangering animals.

These products, being formulated with algaeplex sea botanicals, helps protect, strengthen, nourish, and hydrate hair. They contain fewer chemicals and the best of the possible ingredients.

Not only are they cruelty-free but also free from sulfate, and all those chemicals we don’t like.

Fortunately, this brand has a lot of hair care products to choose from. It’s not as popular as Redken, L’Oreal, Olay, Nexxus, Kerastase, etc.

But that’s what you get when you’re dealing with a cruelty-free or vegan brand. Many people may not know the brand, but the brand is thriving.

Even popularity cannot be used as a yardstick for quality especially when you’re considering the best products for your skin. And one that’s not born out of animal cruelty.

  1. Hello, question is how can any company claim cruelty free (does not test on animals) but have animal ingredients in the product….if animal by products or any animal ingredients are in the product it can’t be cruelty free, (WHY) if animal ingredients are in the products how did they get there, an animal had to suffer or be killed for any part of their body to be included in a cruelty free product, therefore it is not cruelty free…..vegan Jody
