Is Heimish Cruelty-Free or Vegan in 2022?

Sharing is caring!

Yes, Heimish is cruelty-free. This can mean the brand does not test on animals directly or through third-party supplies.

I’ve also confirmed through multiple resources that Heimish is cruelty-free. Around 4 or 5 years ago, Korea prohibits the testing of products and ingredients on animals.

This effectively ends any sort of testing that brands may attribute to the law in Korea.

Therefore, most Korean brands are supposed to be cruelty-free except those of them that still sell in China or in countries where testing is required by law.

Ethical Bunny, one of the sources I checked for this article, placed Heimish under the grey category. That is, the brand has a pending cruelty-free status.

But there are no reports elsewhere that the brand tests on animals. The only problem is that the brand may not be disclosing its full animal testing policy, which is also not acceptable.

However, two other sources confirmed Heimish to be in the clear.

Is Heimish Certified Cruelty-Free?

No company has certified Heimish to be cruelty-free. The brand, however, exists on some lists of cruelty-free Korean brands.

But official certification by independent companies like Leaping Bunny, PETA, etc., isn’t available.

Is Heimish Vegan?

Most Heimish products are vegan, including the following products:

  • Heimish All Clean Low pH Balancing Vegan Toner
  • Heimish All Clean Balm
  • All Clean Low pH AHA/PHA Hydro Vegan Essence

While we cannot say that Heimish is 100% vegan, the brand is closer to being a fully vegan brand. So, it’s important to check the product you want to be sure it is vegan.
