If you have normal to dry hair, you can try the Kerastase Nutri Bain Satin 1 Shampoo. This shampoo is enriched with glucose, lipids, and proteins, which help in supplying adequate nutrients to the hair.

Remember, when the hair lacks the necessary nutrition and essential oil, it becomes fragile, dull, and weak. To ensure your hair stays strong when you use it, Kerastase added Glucids in the shampoo.

Keranique Scalp Stimulating Shampoo

As you can see from the name, this shampoo is specifically designed for stimulating the scalp to boost hair growth.

Similarities & Differences

Ingredients

Looking at the ingredient list of the two shampoos, it’s clear they have a lot of stuff in them. I always like to see a short ingredient list as much as possible, although some brands may not list everything.

I believe it’s only ethical to list everything on the bottle so that we can all trust what we see on the label and mold our buying decision around that. The list is a lot but there are quite a few good ingredients in there like keratin, vitamin b5, glucose, protein, etc. 

The Kerastase shampoo contains sodium chloride, which can cause dry and itchy scalp if yours is already sensitive. This can also worsen hair loss. On the other hand, sodium chloride isn’t found in the Keranique shampoo.

Vegan & Cruelty-free

When I looked, I found that Kerastase is clearly not a cruelty-free brand. However, that information is scarce on Keranique.

They don’t ship their products to China as at the time of writing this but they don’t deny their products aren’t vegan since they use ingredients like glycerin that may be derived from animals.

Price

In terms of price, I’d say Keranique beats Kerastase as their own shampoo is more expensive than that of Keranique. However, that’s the extent of my own research.

You may come across varying prices for each shampoo. As long as you’re able to choose the one that’ll give you the highest satisfaction, go for it.

Finally, both shampoos are designed to raise the hair and scalp health while making their hair thicker. They are equally safe for color-treated hair.
