The major differences between The Ordinary and Drunk Elephant is that of price and ingredients. The active ingredient in Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Serum is Vitamin D while that of The Ordinary is Hyaluronic Acid.

The Drunk Elephant Serum is more expensive than that of The Ordinary.

So, if you’re looking for the cheaper of the two, go with The Ordinary. Both are cruelty-free and vegan but Drunk Elephant is a lot more expensive.

Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream

Most creams are used for improving the appearance of the skin’s texture, firmness, and tone. If you’re out to get one of these, then the Drunk Elephant Protini Polypeptide Cream is a good one to consider.

Just Like The Ordinary, Drunk Elephant is vegan and cruelty-free.

This serum is filled with lots of goodies like cocoa extract, Chronopeptide, Platinum Peptides for nurturing a youthful-looking skin.

Chronopeptide helps promote firmer, more toned, and brighter looking skin. While platinum peptides hydrate the skin and stimulate the regeneration process.

If you’re suffering from fine lines and wrinkles plaguing your face, this replenishing face serum is specifically designed for reducing their appearance.

The quality is good and is a certified cruelty-free product for the vegans out there.

One nice feature of the product is that it doesn’t include any of those questionable ingredients that could irritate your sensitive skin.

One concern that many people have (which you probably have as well) is whether this serum works on all skin types or not.

The serum can definitely be used for all skin types and there hasn’t been any complaint from any of those who have used it.

It should blend well with whatever skin type you’re using it on — dry, sensitive, acne-prone, and so on. You can also mix it with your foundation, without any problem.

One of these is the Hyaluronic Acid, which is one of the cheapest products you’ll find (sometimes depends on where you’re buying–look the right places).

There are a lot of things to like about this product.

First is the small price tag. Although price sometimes doesn’t tell the true picture, when you’re on a tight budget, I’m sure you’ll pick a quality product that appears at a very low price.

That’s the case with this one. Another thing to note is that it’s a water-based serum. That means it’s lightweight, can easily penetrate the skin and deliver a punch of moisture to appropriate places.

It also contains Vitamin B, which helps the body generate new cells, which is great news for anyone looking for an effective anti-aging cream.

The serum is able to penetrate the skin and delivers long-lasting hydration. The result is a plump, smooth, softer, and healthier skin.

Verdict

If you have damaged areas on your face or skin and are looking for an affordable serum to wipe away the scars, do not look over this.

It’ll turn those dry areas into better-looking spots, based on what many users are saying. But then, you have to try it first.

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors

The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors I’m sure if you see a good product, you’ll know and if you can afford it, you’ll buy it. If that’s the case, you’ll probably love The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors.

The moisturizer is based on a formula with natural moisturizing factors which are a group of natural moisturizing ingredients like amino acids, lactate, urea, etc.

These ingredients help provide the body with immediate hydration. Let’s talk about them a bit. Amino acids have antioxidants and anti-inflammatory properties.

If you don’t know what those are, then these properties help counter the production of free radicals in the skin, thereby reducing damages in skin cells.

They also reduce fine lines and wrinkles. As you can see, the moisturizer does more than hydrate your skin. It also engages the skin barrier to keep it stronger.

Other ingredients include ceramides, hyaluronic acid, fatty acids, etc., all of which are present in the skin and help keep the outer layers protected and moisturized.

I’ve reviewed a lot of moisturizers and you can find a lot of cheap ones that are surprisingly good for the skin. The Ordinary Natural Moisturizing Factors is one of these. Not only is it cheap but it can give you good results.

Final Words on Choosing The Ordinary or Drunk Elephant

From the above, you can see that both brands are good. And very effective too! However, if you’re working with a tight budget, you’re more likely to get a good deal with The Ordinary than Drunk Elephant.

With the two products I reviewed, serum and moisturizer, Drunk Elephant’s version turned out to be more expensive.

That doesn’t mean you shouldn’t consider Drunk Elephant at all. They offer very good products too. It’s just that many people would rather go for the cheaper one if they are going to get the same benefits after all.

And we can’t fault that.
