Tweak’d By Nature vs Wen: Differences & Similarities!

Sharing is caring!

WEN and Tweak’d By Nature are hair cleansing treatments that help to cleanse the hair of residue and enhance the smoothness and hair shine.

If you’re reading this, you probably already know that these products come in a foam or silky cream texture that helps improve the health of the hair.

If you have weak, limp, and frizzy hair, both these products have been featured on multiple consumer platforms.

They are both good products but how can you pick the better of the two? I wouldn’t say one is necessarily better than the other.

But one may be more suitable for you than the other.

So, it’s important to know what they do and how they do it, which will help you choose the right one for your hair.

Without further ado:

Tweak’d By Nature vs WEN: Differences & Similarities

Differences Between TBN and WEN

WEN is currently a patented product and seems to be the first in the industry.

Being a pioneer, most other products (including Tweak’d By Nature) are following in the footsteps of WEN.

Why do some people complain of WEN side effects, it seems to still be one of the best right now.

Tweak’d By Nature is also very effective and a lot of people have reported seeing good results.

Some users also noted seeing significant improvements after switching from WEN to Tweak’d.

Instructions

The instructions guiding you on how you use the product are quite different.

As for Tweak’d, you have to put the foam on dry hair as opposed to WEN which you put on wet hair.

That means you can’t use Tweak’d when your hair is wet, else it’ll not be effective. And that would literally translate to wasting money.

The same applies to WEN.

Product Packaging

The Tweak’d product comes in an aerosol can.

WEN, on the other hand, doesn’t have any of its products in an aerosol can.

That makes WEN a little bit more safer to use since there is a low possibility of air pollution.

Price

When I checked the price for both products, I found WEN to be slightly cheaper than Tweak’d By Nature.

However, this depends on the product you’re buying.

But if you want a slightly more affordable product of the two, then WEN it is.

Overview of Ingredients

Typical Tweak’d Ingredients:

If you check the website of Tweak’d by Nature, you’ll likely not find the full ingredients listed.

The brand only mentioned that the ingredients are naturally harvested and organic.

But if you want the full ingredients, you’ll find it hard to find them on the website. Fortunately, I found it and will post it below:

As you can see, there is a ton of ingredients. The allergens present on the list include Citral, Hexyl Cinnnamal, Linalool, Limonene, and Geraniol.

Typical WEN Ingredients:

Water, Glycerin, Cetyl Alcohol, Rosemary Leaf Extract, Wild Cherry Fruit Extract, Fig Extract, Chamomile Extract, Marigold Flower Extract, Behentrimonium Methosulfate, Cetearyl Alcohol, Stearamidopropyl Dimethylamine, Amodimethicone, Hydrolyzed Wheat Protein, Polysorbate 60, Panthenol (Pro-Vitamin B5), Menthol, Sweet Almond Oil, PEG-60 Almond Glycerides, Methylisothiazolinone, Methylchloroisothiazolinone, Citric Acid, Essential Oils

As you can see, WEN has a lesser list of ingredients than Tweak’d By Nature, which is always a good thing. The lower, the better.

Similarities Between TBN and WEN

Any Similarities Between Tweak’d and WEN?

As mentioned before, both products are mainly used for cleansing your hair.

So, they are not shampoos per se. That would seem like they have a lot in common.

However, when you look closely, you’ll see that they are quite different products.

The thing that is similar between them is that they don’t contain SLS (sulfate-free).

Conclusion

As you can see, both products have their pros and cons. Going by the differences, I think WEN has the upper hand. It is slightly cheaper.

And being a pioneer is likely more effective than Tweak’d By Nature.

However, the choice is always yours, so choose based on your preferences.
