Blonde to brown hair color?

I dyed my hair platinum blonde i used 30 developer & now i want to go back to brunette because im tired of re-dying the roots. How do i change the color with out damaging my hair ??

ummm i just picked a dirty blonde color
and i used a 30 dveloper and yeah i iept dying it and it changed colors

All colors mixed make brown. Get yourself a good Neutral color (levels 5 or 6)and have at it. You need to replace the colors you removed for it to last. You may need to do a touch up a few days after.

This process is called a tintback. The blonde hair must first be "filled" with a an orangy gold base "filler" or demipermanant shade. rinse, dry, then apply desired shade of brown over it. ahhh! success.if you don't replace these warm tones the brown will turn out flat and muddy. any more questions ask the hair gurus

dying from bright blonde to aurburn

hiya i done a short course on hairdressing and i know ya cant throw aurburn dye straight onto blonde hair cause ya hav ta prepigmantate the hair first.has anyone any idea wat colour i can throw on it tat wont effect the aurburn i wanna put on after.i want the result ta be be light brown & redish but not gingery red.thanks it wud be very helpfull.

simple!! use a non-amonia, demi permanant color in light copper first. then rinse, condition. now apply your auburn.
