How to Dye The underneath or your hair

I have Yellowish Blonde Hair and i want just the bottom layer to be brown... How do i do this???

 Darker Underlayers

Get a friend to give you a hand. You'll need a few clips and a rat-tail comb. The hair will need to be parted behind each ear, and it's best to use a parting that curves right along your occipital bone. Clip up all the hair on top now, and you are ready to color your underlayers. You'll only need a semi-permanent color, as you are not going lighter. You only need color deposit. Don't choose an ash brown if your hair's been lightened previously. Go with a neutral or a warm golden brunette. Paint it on your underlayers, straight through from root to ends, and time according to the directions. Rinse, condition, and enjoy your new look. If you don't wear your hair up alot, you'll be able to wait quite awhile before retouching.

It doesn't really matter how long your hair is.
If you want to dye your hair, then you can.
Personally, I think it's better if your hair is a few inches below your shoulders. I think it looks better, but anyone can say something different.

I have dark brown hair, I want to keep the top bit brow and lighten the bottom bit so it kinder shimmers through.. I want to add a fringe I have very long hair... Do u have any pic ideas for that!

look up amanda bynes. on the cosmopolitan mag (around nov 2008) her hair is that color. you can see it better inside the issue. i want mine that color too

where on your head do you part for this look? I have read different articles and soem say temples down do brown some say ears down some say bottom layer(which i don't know how to seperate) any help would be great!

My hair was black , then it faded back to a brown. Now my hair is sorta dark brown. My hair is about an inch below the shoulders. I'm dying the underneath light auburn red, and the top black. I hope it looks good!

Im doing a similar hairstyle on myself this weekend, and for this im going to sally's beauty supply, and buying color brilliance permanent creme hair color in 2n which is a dark brown they also have lighter browns, and then you also have to buy a creme developer, creme hair colors are easier to work with and work great! The dye only costs $4.99 and the developer is like another $5.00. My hair is naturally red, so i need to go dark brown, but if you have lighter hair you might want to try a lighter brown.

Yeah i did my hair with kool aid when i was younger. I don't suggest doing it. My hair was sticky and I couldn't get a brush through it. It was horrible
