This is what my hair used to look like.Ive always hated it, It is Soo uncontrollable and really Frizzy. When i Havent Got any Product on It, it feels really dry and horrible. Ive always dreamed of haveing pin straight Hair. A Few months ago i bought a hair perm from the local chemist and combed it throught my hair hoping my curls would drop out making it easy to straiten. I realise now that was a BIG mistake and i should of gotten advice before i done anything like that. Now my hair is even worse i cant style it as good as i used to and it is more frizzy.I hate the Fact That my boyfriend cant run his fingers throught my hair. i realli want it to be straight and possibly quite short. I feel My life would be easier. What Do You Think?? Please Help

but maybe you can put Anti-frizz hair
products on it? Just work with wat u have

I have some what straight hair, if i brush dry it it's pin straight, if i let it dry it's kinda wavy... but soft just as you would want your hair to be... the fact is, i agree with all previous posters, and the one before me especially: HOW I WISH I HAD YOUR HAIR. straight after a while, is boring, it's constant styling to making look bigger, it's flat, and has no life. all stylists are saying that the new Fall 09 trend will be CURLS and TEXTURE. hope your curls come back. keep moisturizing your hair and drink a lot of water. it helps the scalp to use aloe vera gel (the one with no alcool, pure aloe is best) the best conditioner i've used for making the hair soft is the Blue conditioner from BIOLAGE by Matrix. it's a professional product, and it's extremely good.

my mother and law and also a good friend are both hairdressers... they said that pin straight hair, Caucasian hair; has little to no texture. when permed, it add texture. African type of hair has a lot of texture, so when permed to straighten it, it has to have a different mixture that will not damage your already textured hair... textured hair is more fragile... so it may fry your hair, which is worse than frizzy, hard to detangle.

if had my hair with small curls, which i think yours are beautiful, i would also try to have small locks, i always thought these were easier to manage, and easy to lock due to your natural tight curls to your root. all you need is to moisturize your scalp and twist your hair every now and then.

trust me, straight caucasian hair is a hassle to manage, doesn't seem like it, but it is! humidy, hot, or rain, will always ruin it.

people with straight hair want curly hair, people with curly hair want straight hair...the difference is its much easier to blow dry your hair straight and then wash it back curly than to have straight hair that can't hold a curl....

people like us are lucky really, no matter how curly or frizzy....we are lucky because we have the choice...

keep it. don't ruin your hair anymore but putting more chemicals on it.

i used to have the exact same hair as you and i wished for the same pin straight hair. so i flat-ironed almost all the curl out of my hair. i miss my old curls so much! i dont recomend straightening it permanenly.. even flat-ironing was a big mistake.

i completely agree. keep your curls. I have wavy hair, and every other night i brade it so it gets all curly. your lucky to have the choice. i agree with the other comments. dont ruin your hair. feel special about it. i have done so much to my hair to make it curly.
