Aveeno vs Johnson: What You Should Know?

Let’s Talk About Johnson

Aveeno vs Johnson

Johnson & Johnson is the parent company of Aveeno, specializing in consumer goods and pharmaceutical products. While Aveeno focuses mainly on skin and hair care products, J & J is much more multifaceted and bigger.

The brand researches, manufactures and sells products in the health care field. J&J is equally involved in baby and adult skincare products.

This doesn’t affect the quality of the brand’s products. But you can expect that it won’t be as good as brands that specialize in only the skincare industry.

Now, Let’s Talk About Aveeno

Aveeno vs Johnson

Aveeno is an American brand of skin and hair care that was established in 1945. It’s owned by Johnson & Johnson, a consumer goods company.

So, you can say that each brand are similar. However, Aveeno is maintained separately and independently from the parent company.

One of the exceptional traits of Aveeno is that its products are generally affordable. It’s also one of the most popular companies when it comes to baby and adult lotions.

The reviews from users are generally positive, with only one main downside. And that’s the ingredients used in the products. While they may not be harmful, there are some questionable ones that most consumers want to avoid.

Aveeno Tear-free & Paraben-free Soap vs Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Gentle Wash

Aveeno Tear-free & Paraben-free Soap

The Aveeno Tear-free & Paraben-free Soap comes in a paraben-free, soap-free, tear-free, and phthalates-free formula for the best care for baby’s skin.

The soap cleanses the baby’s body without drying out the skin, thanks to a gentle formula.

The soap also doesn’t cause the baby discomfort, especially when it enters the eye. Instead, it’s filled with natural oat extract that nourishes and soothe the baby’s delicate skin.

It also contains glycerin and other lipids that keep the skin hydrated. Aside from the body, it can be used on the head. You can use it separately or dump it directly into bathwater.

If your baby has sensitive skin, this wash is safe for you.

It is also hypoallergenic, meaning it’s likely to cause an allergic reaction when used on your baby’s skin. You can get the soap from drugstores that are close to you.

For even more convenience, you can order online from the likes of Walmart, Amazon, Target, Sephora, and Ulta.

Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Gentle Baby Wash

The Johnson’s Head-to-Toe Gentle Baby Wash is a similar soap for delicate baby skin.

The wash is tear-free and hypoallergenic, just like the Aveeno Tear-free baby wash. It’s pH-balanced to the baby’s skin, so it doesn’t disrupt the baby’s skin condition.

It’s also pediatrician tested, which means it’s suitable for baby use on baby’s skin.

The wash is formulated with a unique tear-free formula, to make bath time a bonding time with your baby. It’s gentle enough for newborns and can as well be used by the whole family.

It can equally be used on the hair and can clean out all the dirt in all the corners to leave the baby’s hair shiny and healthy. The product is available on Walmart, Target, Amazon, and many other outlets.

Verdict

The major difference between the two is that Johnson’s Baby Soap is more expensive than the Aveeno Baby Gentle Soap. Also, the active ingredient in the Aveeno soap s active naturals oat extract while that of Johnson’s is glycerin.

This means that Johnson’s Baby Soap may be more moisturizing than the Aveeno while that of Aveeno may be gentler on a baby’s skin.

Aveeno vs Johnson: Verdict

If you’re looking for budget and very affordable products, your best option is Aveeno.

Most of their products are at a lower price point than those of Johnson & Johnson, even though they are under the same umbrella. Johnson & Johnson products are equally good, but they may be expensive. So, you have to pay attention to that when buying.
